When Mamawi students applied to be part of Inspire Mamawi Leadership’s second summer program, they knew exactly what they were getting into—and twice as many wanted in.
In addition to the students returning (5/6), the program attracted two Indigenous youth from Medicine Hat and Lacombe plus four first-timers from MANS. Reflecting on their opportunities to travel, work on a home renovation, learn new skills, and resume build, the consensus this fall was that they’d be applying to the program again next summer.
